Whenever I think about Chitrkoot Dham, Ram Ghat comes to the top of my head and I find myself lost in the beautiful experiences I have every time I spent the evening in this beautiful ghat. I still remember those blissful boat rides, the beautiful colors of boats standing on the bank of the River, and Ganga Arati. I also love the street food from one old shop — Its the best.
Located on the banks of the Mandakini River, Ramghat is considered a holy site in Hinduism. Legend says that Lord Rama, Lord Lakshmana, and Sita bathed at this ghat during their exile.
Attracting thousands of devotees on a daily basis, Ram Ghat is one of the major Chitrakoot tourist places as it is a great spot for photographers wanting to capture the culture of India as well as culture vultures learning about Hinduism.
